Who will stage 2 in the Giro 2024 according to the computer? Stage 2 starts in San Francesco al Campo and finishes after 140km at the top of Oropa. Second stage is immediately a good opportunity for climbers to get their shot at stage-victory. After an relatively easy 100km, the last 60 kilometers contain quite some altitude gain. It starts of with two hills of 3rd category, the main course of this stage is the climb to Santuario di Oropa. A climb with history: the last winner was Tom Dumoulin, and the moth mytical performance at Oropa was Pantani's effort in 1999. It is 11.8 kilometers at an average gradient of 6.2%, but the first 5 kilometers are relatively easy. The final 6.5 kilometers will climb at about 8.2% on average. This is for the real climbers and GC-contender, or will the breakaway fight for stage-victory and pink?
