Tuesday, July 25 - Stage 3: Collonges-la-Rouge > Montignac-Lascaux (147 km)

The third stage takes the riders from Collonges-la-Rouge to Montignac-Lascaux. This stage is again 147 kilometers long and is characterized as a flat stage. Although there are no major climbs, the riders will face some challenging hills, but they are unlikely to be steep enough to make a significant difference. It promises to be an exciting sprint finish where the fast sprinters can shine.

In stage 2, Lotte Kopecky was beaten after a tough stage and a sprint uphill by Lianne Lippert. Therefore, tomorrow, the team will likely ride for Lorena Wiebes, as it was already one of the plans for stage 1. However, if Lorena struggles on the climb, Lotte will be the backup plan. Lotte took this literally and attacked herself, causing Lorena to fall behind in the group. But a win is a win, and today's lack of victory for Team SD Worx is something we haven't seen often lately. The hilly zone is challenging, but the course afterward is long enough to make up for any time gaps. The CyclingOracle team has chosen Charlotte Kool as their unicorn. She climbed with the best in the first stage and has already beaten Lorena several times in sprint duels this year. Hopefully, that will happen again tomorrow.
