Wednesday, July 26 - Stage 4: Cahors > Rodez (177 km)
The fourth stage, covering a distance of 177 kilometers, will be the longest stage of the Tour de France Femmes 2023. This stage is classified as hilly and will test the riders with steep climbs and technical descents. It's a stage where the climbers can showcase their strength and potentially gain an advantage over their competitors.
In stage three, SD Worx won again, this time with Lorena Wiebes. Much will depend on the tactics of this team. Will they, for instance, attempt an attack with Marlen Reusser, or will they go for another sprint with a smaller peloton and Lotte Kopecky?
The computer predicts that attacks from the general classification contenders are likely, and therefore, the most chances of victory come from that group. According to the computer, Demi Vollering has the highest chance of winning. However, in the WielerOrakel team, we believe that watching each other closely, as seen in the past few days, could lead to a surprise, and Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig might seize this victory.
