Previous winners of the race include Anna van der Breggen, Annemiek van Vleuten, Demi Vollering, and Lizzie Deignan.

The 2023 edition promises to be an exciting one, with a challenging 142.8 km course that features some of the most iconic climbs in the region. Starting at the Place McAuliffe in the heart of Bastogne, the riders will set off towards the first climb of the day, the Côte de Mont-le-Soie. At 1.7 km long with an average gradient of 7.9%, this climb will set the tone for the rest of the race.

From there, the riders will face a series of challenging climbs, including the Côte de Wanne, the Côte de Stockeu, and the Haute-Levée. These climbs will test the riders' endurance and climbing abilities and provide ample opportunities for attacks and breakaways.

The Col du Rosier is the next major climb, and at 4.4 km with an average gradient of 5.9%, it is sure to be a decisive point in the race. After the Col du Rosier, the riders will face the Col du Maquisard, followed by the legendary Côte de la Redoute. This 1.6 km climb with an average gradient of 9.4% is often where the race is won or lost, and it will be interesting to see who can make a decisive move here.

The Côte des Forges and the Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons are the final climbs of the race, and they are no easy feat. The Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons, in particular, is a tough climb with an average gradient of 11%. After cresting the final climb, the riders will descend towards the finish line on the Quai des Ardennes, where the winner will be crowned.

Overall, the Liège-Bastogne-Liège-Femmes 2023 promises to be an exciting and challenging race. With a course that features some of the most iconic climbs in the region, it will test the riders' endurance and climbing abilities to the limit. The winner will need to be a complete cyclist, able to climb, descend, and sprint to the finish.
