Who will win stage 6 of Giro d'Italia 2024 according to the computer? The stage starts in Torre del Lago Puccini and finishes 180 kilometers later in Rapolano Terme. Gravel sections are back in stage 6 of the Giro. After a flat opening phase and a hilly middle phase, two gravel sections await the riders 50 KM from the finish. The first section of 4.4 KM is relatively easy, but immediately after this section the second section (of 4.8 KM) follows and contains a climb of 2.5 KM at 6.6%.

From the end of this section, the course cruises to the last gravel section about 20 KM from the finish, this one is 2.4 KM long and does not contain any significant climbing. The last 10 KM of the stage are rising and at about 5 KM a climb of 1.2 KM at 8.4% awaits. The last 0.5 KM of this climb are horrendous: average gradient 14% with a peak of up to 20%. From the top there is still 3.2 KM to go at undulating terrain, the last meters are uphill again. GC riders will have to race attentinve, although a successful victory from the breakaway is possible
