Friday, July 28 - Stage 6: Albi > Blagnac (122 km)

The sixth stage takes the riders from Albi to Blagnac covering a distance of 122 kilometers. This stage is also classified as flat, providing another opportunity for the sprinters to shine. There are 4 climbs of category 4, offering some climbing challenges, though less compared to previous days.

Unfortunately, Lorena Wiebes had to leave due to illness, creating possibilities for a new stage winner. According to the computer, Charlotte Kool has the best chance, but in stage 3, the sprint didn't go as planned, and she finished seventh. However, she is highly motivated and has a strong team to support her in this stage.

Other contenders include Lotte Kopecky in the yellow jersey, along with Chiara Consonni and Elisa Balsamo, who seem to have found their form and will be eager to compete for the victory. The WielerOrakel team has chosen Marianne Vos as their unicorn, who has also performed well in sprints twice. Though she might have lost some form on uphill sections, this flatter stage might bring out the best in her.
