The Tour of Flanders 2023 starts in Bruges and finishes 273.4 kilometers later with 19 (cobblestone) climbs and 6 cobblestone sections in Oudenaarde. Traditionally, the first half of the race is mostly flat, and the hilly zone starts at the first climb of the Oude Kwaremont. The combination of Oude Kwaremont and Paterberg marks the end of the 19 climbs, followed by 11 kilometers to the finish line.

Tour of Flanders 2023 – Prediction
The Jumbo-Visma team boasts a strong lineup, including the favorite to win, Wout van Aert is the top favorite. Dylan van Baarle would have been an excellent shadow favorite to attack from a lang way out, but sadly is not at the start. Christophe Laporte and Tiesj Benoot, who are also predicted to finish in the top ten can perhaps take on this role.
UAE Team Emirates has Tadej Pogacar, who has a good chance of winning, and has Matteo Trentin to support him or perhaps anticipate and get up the road to help Pogacar in the final.
Alpecin-Deceuninck has Mathieu van der Poel and Søren Kragh Andersen as a strong helper, who can perhaps try to take advantage of the big 3 looking at each other.
INEOS Grenadiers has Tom Pidcock, who could be a dark horse for the title, while Groupama-FDJ has Stefan Küng and Valentin Madouas, both of whom have a chance of finishing in the top ten.
Other riders to look out for include Mads Pedersen from Trek-Segafredo, Matej Mohoric from Bahrain Victorious, and Nils Politt from BORA-hansgrohe. It's going to be an exciting race, and we can't wait to see who comes out on top. Will Mathieu van der Poel defend his title, or will we see a new champion crowned?
