The 2023 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad traditionally starts in 't Kuipke in Ghent and finishes 207.3 kilometers later in Ninove. There are 12 steepclimbs and 9 cobbled sections in the course. The finale is a feast for fans with the final of the 'old' Tour of Flanders with a combination of the Muur van Geraardsbergen and the Bosberg.

Despite zero race-days, Christophe Laporte is the clear favorite of the computer: his expected win is 27.3 percent. Good old Alexander Kristoff (11.4%) and Matteo Trentin (10.1%) complete the predicted podium. Our unicorn is Davide Ballerini. The Italian already won the Omloop in 2021, rode anonymously last year, but we expect him to be at his best again. He can also rely on his sprint in a smaller group.
