Critérium du Dauphiné 2023 starts on Sunday June 4th in Chambon-sur-Lac and finishes a week later at Sunday June 11th in Grenoble. It's the 75th edition of the race and the final preparation for the Tour de France, together with Tour de Suisse that stats a week later. The race consists of 8 stages well suited to puncheurs. There are several stages with some short steep climbs in the final kilometers. Furthermore it features one Individual Time Trial (31.3km) and 2 big mountain stages in the final weekend of the race. Croix de Fer and La Bastille are most important climbs in those two stages. Main contenders are: Jonas Vingegaard, Egan Bernal, Jai Hindley, Richard Carapaz, Enric Mas, David Gaudu and Julian Alaphilippe.
